In time for Valentine’s Day, my mythology romance series, The Immortal Transcripts, is back warming hearts with book 3, Shudder, and a charitable act. Check out the info below:
Myrtle Beach, SC, 4 February 2023—Authors 4 Authors Publishing is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Lisa Borne Graves’s third novel of this electrifying series that has left mythology and romance lovers wanting more.
The new novel will release on February 5th, 2023 and is available for preorder at many online retailers such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Books-A-Million in paperback for $15.99 and in various e-book formats for $4.99. Graves is an English lecturer in the Grand Strand, and a neurodiversity advocate. She is combining her skills for a book launch with the goal of also raising money for autism awareness.
“After I started selling books at local events,” Graves says, “I learned truly how supportive the Grand Strand community is. Sharing my work with and talking to fans—there’s no better feeling. But I’ve aways had a dream to use my writing platform to help others who don’t feel that community support, like my son. This past winter, my fans and friends surpassed my birthday fundraising goal for an autism charity. I want to do that kind of thing again…repeatedly.”
Graves felt this was the book with which to do that since one narrator is neurodiverse. Neurodiversity refers to the diversity of all people, but it is often used in the context of autism, as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or learning disabilities.

Shudder is a continuation of the modern reinvention of the Cupid and Psyche myth and picks up immediately after the events of Quiver and Fever when Archer and Callie’s happily ever after is at stake due to her illness and Zeus’s looming threat. New places, prophecies, and faces give the gods answers, but the shuddering truth might be too hard to bear.
The book will be Graves’s seventh overall, and she is already hard at work on the fourth and final book in the series, Glimmer, for 2024 release.
Graves will hold a book launch event at The Melt in Broadway at the Beach on February 4th from 2:00-4:00 PM. She will be doing a live reading and book signing, including Shudder before it officially hits the shelves. Melt is offering themed specials for the event such as heart-shaped pizzas.
Graves will donate a portion of book-sale proceeds to CAN and is raffling off prizes. CAN is a local non-profit that educates and empowers the Grand Strand community by creating supportive experiences for people living with autism.
